Your role
This analyst position is responsible for preparing accurate consolidated reporting, value-added analysis, consolidated financial planning activities (budgeting and forecasting), and cross-functional improvement initiatives, working with the Finance teams across the International region and in the US. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for accuracy, an analytical mind, the ability to operate in challenging timelines, and the desire to improve processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing requests from Group requiring data and responses from International Fleet region
- Produce accurate consolidated LOB reporting and insightful analysis for various sets of data (ie revenue initiatives, KPI’s)
- Produce monthly reporting pack for review at International Fleet monthly call
- Support Regional FPA team and CFO during planning process to validate and consolidate International LOB data
- Deliver standard, and non-standard, reporting as per business requirements
- Work to existing processes, with a view to identifying and implementing best in class financial planning and reporting, and potential efficiencies. Enhancing communication and collaboration across the region.
- Collaborate with all other departments of the businesses and support strategic initiatives and project implementation.
- Coordinate with FLEETCOR’S family of global FP&A teams and functional finance leaders to ensure alignment on financial performance and drivers of results / forecasts;
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end internal and external reporting requirements with clear reporting, analysis, and insights
- Other core FP&A duties and ad hoc projects (finance transformation/cross-functional) as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Has a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a Business, Accounting or Finance major … MBA/CPA/CFA a plus
- Has 2+ years of relevant finance experience … preferably commercial FP&A experience within a global publicly traded company;
- Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor;
- Has advanced Excel knowledge and skills … in addition to PowerPoint and Word proficiency
- Planful experience a plus
- Has ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing finance environment;
- Has ability to uphold the highest level of confidentiality and discretion on daily responsibilities.
- Has knowledge of FP&A processes, systems, and tools with an ability to identify best practices for creating an efficient FP&A organization
