A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Air Conditioning Shift Engineer to join a market-leading industrial engineering business at their prestigious site in Westminster. Responsibilities:
- Undertake all assigned PPMs and reactive works as issued via CAFM app promptly, completing them in line with contract KPIs and SFG 20 requirements.
- Perform fault finding and diagnostic work, utilizing test equipment and providing reports as required.
- Order materials for relevant repairs and servicing, and report any shortfalls to the Supervisor with suggestions for improvement.
- Manage workload according to the CAFM system requirements and ensure work orders are correctly closed off.
- Interact professionally with the client’s representatives, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct general maintenance and maintain good housekeeping practices in workshop areas, managing tools and materials properly.
- Complete Safety Documentation Daily (Set to Work).
- Perform Point of Work Risk Assessments Daily (POWRA).
- Close PPM and reactive work orders on time, including closure notes.
- Ensure all required documentation, test results, and photographs are uploaded to the CAFM system.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of demonstrable experience as an AC/Refrigeration Engineer.
- Appropriate Level 3 (6187) NVQ / City and Guilds / Cat 02 Qualifications.
- Satisfactory F Gas Handling and Management certification (2079).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant PPM and reactive maintenance experience in a similar environment.
- Experience using a CAFM system on a PDA/Mobile device.
- Results and task-oriented with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent client service.
- Drive for personal development and professional progression.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and work as part of a team with a flexible approach.
