Job Description:

We are recruiting for a multi-skilled Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer based in central Yorkshire covering the maintenance of multiple commercial, retail, and estate contracts across the region (M62/M1). The role will involve providing Mechanical Building Services to each facility via PPM and reactive works, plus compliance and small works projects.

The role is a permanent position paying circa £40k basic plus a competitive package, with half-hour travel each way, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, plenty of overtime (paid at x1.5 / x2.0) optional, On-call TBC – 1 in 4, 25 days holiday plus statutory, Van with personal use, Life cover, company sick pay etc.

Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer Duties:

1. Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to AC systems, splits, condensers, VRV, VAV etc.
2. AHU and Fan Coil systems
3. Mechanical plant room
4. Chillers and cooling system pipework etc.
5. Compliance checks
6. General maintenance works
7. Small works installation
8. Emergency repairs

Requirements:

1. A qualified AC or HVAC Engineer (i.e., NVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
2. Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
3. Excellent client-facing skills
4. Valid driving license
5. Willingness to complete fabric, plumbing, and mechanical tasks including AHU and fan coil works
6. Experience of Commercial facilities
