Job Description:
The Oxford Applied and Theoretical Machine Learning group at the Department of Computer Science has a new opening for a Project Support Officer, working alongside Professor Yarin Gal. The role involves supporting research on AI model safety, security, reliability, and robustness, including foundational research on frontier models. Topics include uncertainty quantification, reliable decision-making, multi-agent systems, reasoning, neural network quantisation, on-device machine learning, and benchmark development.
About the research group: The Machine Learning (ML) group at Oxford, led by Yarin Gal, is a leading research team working on core machine learning research and applications, with members from diverse backgrounds such as Computer Science, Maths & Stats, Engineering, and Physics.
