Syndicate 1183 underwrites various classes of business including war, terrorism, energy, marine, financial lines, cyber, transport, political risk, crisis management, kidnap & ransom, contingency, property, and treaty reinsurance. Talbot is recognized as an industry-leading insurance and reinsurance specialist due to its expert underwriters and diverse portfolio. How you will create an impact The Aggregate Technical Assistant is responsible for capturing and reporting data into the aggregation system, ensuring data reliability, accuracy, and timely delivery. They are encouraged to suggest and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and IT systems related to underwriting aggregate data quality and timeliness. The role requires good knowledge of the Lloyd’s market and a solid understanding of the Insurance/Reinsurance industry. Previous experience with aggregate data entry is essential. Some responsibilities include: Quality control of schedules processed by outsourced providers and uploaded into our system Entering policy data, including perils, sub-limits, and deductibles, into the aggregation system Determining which risks require internal or external cleansing Ensuring data accuracy, resolving ambiguities, and escalating issues as needed Monitoring and following up on outstanding aggregate data What you’ll need to succeed Understanding of aggregate data At least 1 year of aggregate data entry experience Good knowledge of underwriting processes and the relationship between Operations and Underwriting Knowledge of the Lloyd’s Insurance Market is preferred Strong IT skills Ready to advance your career?
