Puro Associates are currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a well-established accounts team on behalf of a highly regarded chartered firm in the Rochdale area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven accounts professional looking to advance their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking firm.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Senior Job:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.
- Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
- Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.
Requirements of the Accounts Senior Job:
- ACCA or ACA qualified (Nearing Qualification or QBE will be considered).
- Ideally at least 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting and Taxation software.
- Friendly disposition and a team player.
- Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels.
