Account Receivable Analyst & Banking Analyst

Salary: up to £30,000 plus bonus

Contract: 6 Month fixed term

Location: Oxford Circus London

Background:

The Big Table Group currently has an opening for an Accounts Receivable position available within the Finance team based in our support office in Central London, just a five minute walk from Oxford Circus.

We are one of the largest leading restaurant companies in the UK, operating over 200 sites at various locations across the country which includes brands such as Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s, Banana Tree, Chiquito and Las Iguanas. The successful candidate will relish in the opportunity for personal development as part of a hard working team and be part of a fast paced, ever evolving and dynamic company.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Raising invoices and credit notes accurately in CODA System and chasing outstanding debt.
  2. Receipting payments from the bank to respective Customer Accounts.
  3. Checking through the Ledger Transaction report and investigating any discrepancies and posting adjustments where required.
  4. Processing of invoices, accruals and possible adjustments prior to month end.
  5. Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations in order to maintain the accuracy of the accounting ledgers.
  6. Creating and sending the outstanding invoices and unallocated payments report to Group Sales Team on a weekly basis.
  7. Managing Customer Set-ups and Amendments when required.
  8. Add/amend supplier bank details.
  9. Dealing efficiently with queries from internal and external parties as well as assisting and supporting Operational Employees in the business.
  10. Any other ad-hoc AR/month end/project related tasks as requested.

  • Various in-house systems

Requirements:

  • Strong Excel and systems knowledge (CODA experience would be beneficial).
  • Strong communicator with clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Passionate, focused and driven to deliver results, knowledgeable about the restaurant industry.
  • Experience in a multi-site sector would be beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage conflicting objectives to see things through to a positive conclusion.
