Responsibilities:

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Take leadership and drive accounts forward.
  • Lead on first drafts of documents for clients, adapting writing style for different audiences such as politicians and civil servants.
  • Provide advice and insights to clients.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Conduct parliamentary and policy monitoring and analysis.
  • Monitor client news and identify stakeholder engagement opportunities.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate and review engagement plans, and oversee policy and stakeholder briefing notes prepared by juniors.
  • Participate in new business pitches, oversee research, review findings, and contribute to document creation.
  • Attend external networking events and webinars relevant to clients.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Parliament, Government, and UK political parties.
  • Confidence with parliamentary monitoring tools like Hansard.
