This iconic agency needs no introduction. Due to unprecedented growth, it is seeking a strategically strong Account Director with integrated experience and an interest in current affairs, politics, government, and behaviour change work to boost its expanding team.

An agency background is preferred for the role and any international work experience, ideally in East African markets, would be a huge plus but certainly isn’t a requirement.

The agency is a specialist global division of one of the world’s most renowned networks. Partnering with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, they work on the critical issues of our time, including national security, social justice, and conflict prevention. They provide a fully integrated, end-to-end service, combining multi-discipline communications teams with subject matter experts across the world. Their work is both domestic and global, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with international activity orientated towards developing countries and fragile, conflict-affected states. Their aim is simple: to produce cutting-edge marketing, communications, and breathtaking creativity to entice behaviour change.

The Account Director role involves managing a team of 2 (a Senior Account Manager and an Account Executive) and working within a wider team of around 15 people comprising the MD, a Business Director, a Senior Account Director, Producers, and Strategists. You will need experience in:

  • Managing multiple productions (social, content, display)
  • Some radio advertising and print experience is also desirable
  • Strategic communications
  • Line management
  • Client communications and stakeholder management
  • Managing social media brands/accounts
  • East African markets (a plus point)

Salary and benefits include up to £60k depending on experience with an exceptional range of additional hard and soft benefits.
