Job Description:
Job Purpose:
- To lead or deputise for Senior Account Directors for a portfolio of clients, managing accounts and client relationships to ensure high quality delivery of the strategy devised by Directors.
- To lead on day-to-day delivery for clients, managing colleagues as appropriate and as directed by Directors, Associate Directors and Senior Account Directors, commissioning research, and managing workflow and performance.
- To be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities, pursuing client leads, developing referrer relationships and generating high quality proposals for Directors.
- To establish long term relationships with clients and build appropriate networks to enhance the Company’s ability to deliver and maintain client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure high quality delivery; meeting and exceeding clients’ expectations across designated accounts.
- To devise, contribute to and implement communications strategies which deliver results and support new client proposals, including media relations, crisis management, litigation support, political strategy, digital/social media etc.
- To lead delivery and/or project management of a number of accounts and target business sector activity.
- To identify and pursue business development opportunities and new client relationships both within own area of experience and across the client range of the business.
- To provide line management, training and development to the team.
- To devise and draft high quality written materials for clients as required (articles and op-eds) and to oversee drafting of materials from junior members of staff.
- To attend a variety of networking functions and events that are identified as providing opportunities to meet potential clients.
- To act as ambassador for the company at all times.
