Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home in the Diss, Ipswich area. The home provides care and support to residents requiring residential, respite, and dementia care.

**Requirements:** NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

**Key duties:**

• Recognise and facilitate residents\’ daily needs
• Conduct supervisions and appraisals
• Contribute to care planning and support coaching
• Promote services when dealing with relatives and prospective residents
• Update and write care plans and documentation
• Assess residents\’ needs to ensure continuity of care
• Administer medication following policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a care setting, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to care for others.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.00, with an annual salary of £24,336. Vacancies are available for both day and night shifts.
