If you answered yes to the above questions, we have the perfect role for you! We are looking for a friendly, hardworking 7.5T LGV Driver to join our team on a permanent basis.

What makes you our ideal 7.5T LGV Driver?

• Full driving licence that allows you to drive in the UK with a 7.5 Tonne / C1 category licence entitlement
• No more than 5 points on licence
• A valid DQC (CPC card) and digital tachograph card (digi card)
• A basic understanding of English
• Physically capable as heavy lifting will be involved
• This role is subject to a satisfactory Basic Disclosure

Responsibilities of the role

Your duties will involve driving to customer houses, delivering home furnishings across the region and surrounding areas alongside a \”Driver\’s Mate\” who will manage customer communication and organisation. Your tasks include loading, unloading, and delivering to the customer’s room of choice. Daily deliveries can range between 15 and 27 drops.

Working conditions

Shift times are favourable, working 4 days from 7, with a minimum 10-hour shift on a rolling rota. Shift patterns include weekends and bank holidays, with 3 weekends off in 7. The company will pay you for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Start and finish times may vary due to external factors, and overtime may be required to complete duties. Overtime is paid at a flat rate.
