Job Description:

The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Third-Party Risk & Oversight, you will be responsible for coordinating activities around the governance of Third-Party Suppliers. This will include representing Third Party Supplier risk across key governance forums & committees and liaising with SMEs on service metrics to form a view and overall third-party supplier dashboard that can be tracked and managed.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Hold internal monthly supplier governance (management) forum for AM
- Liaise with SMEs on service metrics to form a view of the overall supplier dashboard
- Review trends and issues from key suppliers
- Review pipeline activities with Suppliers
- Identify trends where there are issues for further focus/deep dive
- Represent 3rd Party Risk across key governance forums & committees such as Tech & Ops forum for SMF24, ERC, and other risk committees
Technical Skills:
- Experience of working across the vendor lifecycle
- Experience of third-party risk oversight
- Experience of running/chairing key governance forums, being able to challenge more senior stakeholders
- Experience of creating executive papers and meeting packs
Non-Technical Skills:
- Proactive attitude towards risk management with proven skills to demonstrate forward-looking risk mitigation (e.g. implementation of leading risk indicators)
- Resilient under fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios
- Hands-on with delivery of outcomes
- Able to build strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders outside of own team
Experience:
- Significant experience in Financial Services
- Preferable experience in 3rd Party Risk Oversight/Vendor Management, first line risk management
- Experience in Governance Support & Management Reporting
