We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support logistics, warehousing, and transport activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication between internal teams, customers, and logistics providers.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily transport and logistics activities to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Liaise with warehouse teams, drivers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Manage transport bookings, shipping documentation, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor shipments and resolve delivery or transport issues as they arise.
- Provide updates to customers and respond to logistics-related enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant transport regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and update ERP/MRP and reporting systems.
- Support continuous improvement of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, transport coordination, or a similar role.
- Understanding of inbound and outbound logistics processes.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to work.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain planning processes.
