An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager or aspiring Service Manager to join a growing and values-led care provider supporting adults with complex needs within community-based services. This role would suit someone ready to take the next step in their career, with strong leadership skills, a person-centred approach and a passion for delivering high-quality support.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and support services, ensuring positive outcomes for the individuals supported whilst leading and developing a motivated staff team. Working closely with senior leadership, families, commissioners and external professionals, you will help shape services, drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with CQC and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop staff through supervision, coaching and training
- Promote a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture across the service
- Oversee safe and effective service delivery in line with CQC standards
- Support the development and implementation of new care packages
- Ensure safeguarding, risk management and Mental Capacity Act requirements are met
- Maintain effective staffing levels and support recruitment activity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, commissioners and professionals
- Monitor service performance
