We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham. This role involves setting, operating, and programming multi-axis CNC lathes using Fanuc controls within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC turning machinery
  • Edit and adjust programs as required
  • Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment
  • Read and work from engineering drawings
  • Support continuous improvement and waste reduction activities
  • Work closely with the production team to achieve targets

Requirements

  • Previous CNC Turning experience
  • Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
  • Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
  • Positive attitude and strong team ethic

Desirable

  • Experience working with large components or within heavy manufacturing environments
