We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham. This role involves setting, operating, and programming multi-axis CNC lathes using Fanuc controls within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC turning machinery
- Edit and adjust programs as required
- Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Support continuous improvement and waste reduction activities
- Work closely with the production team to achieve targets
Requirements
- Previous CNC Turning experience
- Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
Desirable
- Experience working with large components or within heavy manufacturing environments
- Offline programming knowledge advantageous
