We're recruiting experienced CNC Machinists to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Mansfield.

These opportunities are suited to individuals with experience in CNC setting, operating, manual milling or multi-axis machining.

Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines.
  • Operate manual milling machinery where required.
  • Produce precision components to engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Load materials, tooling and fixtures.
  • Monitor machining operations and make adjustments where required.
  • Carry out rework, finishing and deburring of components.
  • Inspect components using a range of measuring equipment, including Verniers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges and Height Gauges.
  • Change cutting tools and complete routine machine maintenance.
  • Work to tight tolerances and high quality standards.
  • Identify machining issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

About You

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator or Manual Miller.
  • Experience working with CNC milling machinery.
  • Multi-axis machining experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances.
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
