We're recruiting experienced CNC Machinists to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Mansfield.
These opportunities are suited to individuals with experience in CNC setting, operating, manual milling or multi-axis machining.
Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Operate manual milling machinery where required.
- Produce precision components to engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Load materials, tooling and fixtures.
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments where required.
- Carry out rework, finishing and deburring of components.
- Inspect components using a range of measuring equipment, including Verniers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges and Height Gauges.
- Change cutting tools and complete routine machine maintenance.
- Work to tight tolerances and high quality standards.
- Identify machining issues and support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
About You
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator or Manual Miller.
- Experience working with CNC milling machinery.
- Multi-axis machining experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
