We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs to ensure machinery and equipment remain fully operational. This is a hands-on role requiring strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with a focus on minimising downtime and driving continuous improvements across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Service, repair and maintain CNC lathes, milling machines and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Minimise machine downtime and maximise production efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement and shop floor improvement projects.
- Assist with general facilities maintenance when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health.
