We're recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a global business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and working as part of a close-knit team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, checked and stored accurately, helping to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from suppliers.
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages or quality issues.
- Accurately record stock using the warehouse management system.
- Label, organise and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training available where required).
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Liaise with drivers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient goods movement.
- Follow company procedures relating to quality, health & safety and warehouse operations.

Experience & Skills

- Basic IT skills.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Desirable
- Forklift Truck licence (training can be provided).
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System.
