Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service. You will play a key role in supporting the branch's growth by managing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to increase sales.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships whilst generating profitable sales through both inbound and outbound activity. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, you will ensure a high level of service is delivered at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Generating sales through proactive outbound calls and handling incoming enquiries
  • Managing customer enquiries regarding orders, stock availability, pricing and invoices
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Converting prospects into active trading accounts
  • Supporting branch sales initiatives, promotions and supplier events
