We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business on a permanent days-based shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong inspection and metrology experience who is confident writing and managing CMM programmes while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, run and maintain CMM programmes for new and existing components.
  • Carry out calibration activities and manage the calibration system.
  • Produce dimensional inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Support internal problem-solving and measurement system assessments.
  • Manage the timely inspection and disposition of rejected components.
  • Complete daily TPM and calibration checks.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with quality procedures and company standards.

About You

  • Previous experience in a CMM Inspector or Quality Inspection role within manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience using CMM software such as PC-DMIS and/or Camio.
  • Confident using a range of hand measuring equipment.
  • Good understanding of geometric tolerancing and inspection techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
