We are recruiting for an experienced Energy Pricing & Contracts Manager to join a growing and forward-thinking energy consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing pricing, procurement and contract negotiations across high-volume gas and electricity portfolios, helping clients secure competitive and cost-effective energy solutions.
The Role
As Energy Pricing & Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of the full procurement lifecycle, from pricing and tendering through to contract completion. Working closely with energy suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will analyse consumption data, build pricing models and negotiate the best commercial outcomes for clients. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of the UK energy market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end pricing and tendering for large and complex energy portfolios.
- Analyse energy consumption data and develop accurate pricing models.
- Liaise with UK energy suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate favourable commercial terms.
- Produce clear pricing summaries and market analysis for clients.
- Support internal teams with contract validation and data accuracy.
- Manage the procurement process from initial tender through to contract completion.
- Monitor contract renewals and maintain accurate portfolio records.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in UK energy pricing, procurement or contract management.
- A strong understanding of the UK gas and electricity markets.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple client portfolios.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
