We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Undertake vehicle inspections, road testing and ramp testing as required.
  • Complete repairs using approved methods to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Carry out tyre fitting and replacement duties.
  • Perform warranty repairs in line with manufacturer requirements.
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure company procedures and health and safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Support and assist junior technicians where required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workshop environment.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a professional workshop environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities, including electrical diagnostics.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed technical decisions.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A professional attitude and strong work ethic.
