TN Talent Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing business looking to appoint an ambitious and proactive Assistant Quality Manager to help drive improvements, strengthen quality processes and support the continued development of their quality function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor or Quality Assurance professional who is ready for greater responsibility and wants to make a genuine difference. We're looking for someone who doesn't just maintain quality standards but actively looks for ways to improve them. The Role Working closely with the wider manufacturing and management teams, you'll play an important role in developing quality systems, improving processes and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: * Leading quality investigations, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). * Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes and quality systems. * Reviewing existing procedures, identifying areas for improvement and introducing practical, sustainable solutions. * Managing non-conformances, customer quality concerns and supplier-related quality issues. * Supporting the development and maintenance of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards. * Using quality tools and techniques and root cause analysis. * Working collaboratively with production, engineering and management teams to improve quality performance. * Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate documentation and corrective actions are maintained. * Developing and updating procedures, work instructions and quality documentation. * Monitoring quality performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements. * Supporting and coaching colleagues to encourage a proactive approach to quality throughout the business. About You Ideally, you'll bring: * Previous experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, Quality Assurance or similar manufacturing quality position. * A good working knowledge of ISO 9001, with ISO 13485 or experience in a regulated manufacturing environment advantageous. * Experience managing non-conformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions. * A practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and quality tools. * Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively. * The ability to work across departments and influence positive change. * Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail. * A proactive, hands-on approach with the ambition to develop professionally.
