Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge with a well-established manufacturer?
We're recruiting for a growing business based in Burton upon Trent that is looking to strengthen its engineering team.

The Role
As part of the engineering team, you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery and site equipment.
You'll ideally be competent in at least three of the following
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Pneumatics
- Systems/Controls
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintain production machinery and site services to minimise downtime.
- Use the site's CMMS to record maintenance activities.
- Support machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects.
- Assist with commissioning new equipment.
- Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers when required.
- Participate in a rotating out-of-hours call-out rota.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
About You
You'll have previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment and be confident fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems.
You'll also have
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience working with production machinery.
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Experience using a CMMS (preferred).
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
