As Payroll Administrator you’ll be responsible for overseeing complete payroll processing for a wide variety of clients, serving as the key contact for all payroll-related matters. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing Real Time Information (RTI) submissions for payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Managing workplace pensions and handling auto-enrolment responsibilities.
  • Producing payroll reports and maintaining internal tracking documents.
  • Administering statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Calculating pay for periods of illness, holiday, and redundancy situations.
  • Issuing tax documentation such as P45s, new starter forms, P60s, and managing student loan deductions.
  • Responding to payroll queries from clients and liaising with HMRC when necessary.
  • Carrying out manual computations for PAYE, NI, parental leave, and other leave entitlements.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
