We’re recruiting for an established international events business operating across the health, personal care and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of marketing and communications activity for a portfolio of UK-based conferences and exhibitions.
The Role
As Marketing Executive, you’ll be involved across the full marketing mix, combining content creation, email marketing, social media, digital campaigns and event promotion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering marketing campaigns across email, social media, direct mail and web.
- Creating engaging and persuasive content for digital channels, websites and printed materials.
- Managing and executing email marketing campaigns and reporting on performance.
- Creating high-quality marketing collateral using Canva or similar design tools.
- Supporting the sales team with effective marketing materials.
- Maintaining communications plans and marketing calendars for individual events.
- Supporting market research, data analysis and reporting.
- Bringing fresh ideas to increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
- Attending events as part of the on-site team and capturing content for future campaigns.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is curious, organised and keen to develop. You’ll enjoy taking ownership of your work while collaborating effectively with colleagues. You’ll ideally have:
- At least 1 year’s experience within a marketing role, ideally within events, B2B marketing or a similar environment.
- Experience delivering marketing campaigns and communications plans.
- Hands-on email marketing experience, including campaign creation and reporting.
- Experience creating digital marketing assets using Canva or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence managing social media accounts and producing engaging content, including video.
- Experience using AI tools for ideas and drafting while maintaining brand voice and quality.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Competent Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience or knowledge of digital marketing and/or a Marketing-related degree would be advantageous but is not essential.
