About the role
As an Accounts and Tax Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting and tax advice, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of accounts and tax clients
- Leading client meetings and building long-term relationships
- Reviewing accounts and tax returns to ensure compliance with HMRC and Companies House requirements
- Overseeing workflow allocation and prioritisation across the team
- Reviewing files to ensure quality, compliance, and technical accuracy
- Supporting year-end reporting requirements, including P11Ds, Form 42 and ATED returns where applicable
- Supporting and developing team members to achieve high performance
- Acting as a trusted adviser, providing valuable insights and solutions to clients
- Ensuring all client work is delivered on time and to the highest professional standards

- Previous experience managing a portfolio of accounts and tax clients within practice
- Strong client relationship management skills
