Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a part-time opportunity with a professional, friendly and well-established law firm?

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded firm in East Kent, providing secretarial and administrative support within their Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team.

Working 3 days per week, with flexibility around which days you work, you’ll become part of a close-knit and supportive team where people genuinely work together.

The Role As Legal Secretary, your responsibilities will include

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to a Director and Solicitors
  • Producing correspondence and legal documents using audio dictation
  • Diary and appointment management
  • Handling telephone calls and client queries
  • Opening, closing and maintaining client files
  • Liaising with fee earners regarding file management
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Filing, photocopying and general administrative duties
  • Supporting the wider team with the smooth day-to-day running of the department

About You

Ideally, you will have previous experience working as a Legal Secretary and be confident using audio dictation.

Previous experience within Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence would be advantageous, although this isn't essential.

Legal secretarial experience from another area of law will also be considered.

You’ll be confident, organised and comfortable supporting busy legal professionals while maintaining a high standard of work.

Due to the location of the office, ideally you will need to drive.
