A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeping and VAT Manager to step into a key role within a growing and sociable team based in Ashford. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a team, with strong potential for a long-term management role within the firm.
- Lead and manage a small, energetic team of junior staff
- Oversee workflow and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Review and prepare VAT returns (10–15 per cycle)
- Conduct 80–100 VAT reviews with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure all VAT submissions are completed on time
- Support bookkeeping activities using Xero and QuickBooks
- Maintain high standards across all client work
