Looking for a unique legal support role that blends client care, legal admin, and career development? A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an organised and personable Notary Assistant to join a respected legal practice in Orpington on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an ideal position for someone with strong administrative skills, a professional client-facing manner, and previous experience in a legal assistant or secretary role.
In this role, you will be the main support to the notary clerk - a senior partner in the firm - handling all pre- and post-appointment administration, including:
- Liaising with clients
- Booking meetings
- Preparing documents
- Ensuring everything runs smoothly
On the two days per week the notary clerk is in-office, you will be on hand to meet clients and assist in person. The rest of your week will be spent coordinating everything around those appointments.
You will benefit from a salary of £25,000 - £30,000, 25 days holiday, access to a bonus scheme, pension, and a parking allowance of £1,300 annually.
