Job Description

Energy & Procurement Trading AnalystWest Malling / Hybrid | £32,960 | 12-Month FTCJoin a leading Energy & Carbon Division and put your analytical skills to work in the fast-moving world of electricity and natural gas trading. You’ll be at the centre of UK energy procurement, executing trades, analysing markets, and helping shape strategies that deliver real value to customers.You’ll track market fundamentals, respond to changing conditions, and work closely with suppliers to maximise value within agreed risk frameworks. Your insights will influence purchasing decisions, support sustainability goals, and contribute to innovative energy solutions. What You’ll Do:
  • Monitor UK & European energy markets
  • Execute and record wholesale trades
  • Manage traded positions to optimise value
  • Provide analysis for weekly market meetings
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Support new product development
