An excellent vacancy has become available for a seasoned Legal Secretary specialising in property transactions to join a close-knit, welcoming, and supportive legal firm. The chosen applicant will predominantly provide assistance to one of the firm’s legal professionals, while also offering support to colleagues across the practice when required. This role is pivotal in ensuring the property transfer process runs seamlessly and efficiently. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Offering comprehensive support on residential property matters to the legal practitioner
- Handling digital dictation, document drafting, and maintaining case files
- Opening and closing case files, preparing engagement documents, and verifying identification in line with anti-money laundering requirements
- Communicating with clients, estate agencies, and legal representatives via telephone and email
- Managing schedules, linking post, and maintaining the calendar for completions
- Helping with general administrative tasks, document copying, and handling calls
