The Role

We are seeking a hands‑on and proactive Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and reconciling company expenses
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Assisting with monthly close procedures
  • Maintaining and reconciling subcontractor ledgers
  • Monitoring and processing direct charges
  • Supporting the wider finance team with day‑to‑day accounting duties
  • Investigating and resolving account discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained
  • Assisting with reporting and finance administration as required

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
  • Strong reconciliation experience
  • Experience with expenses, credit cards and month-end processes
  • Good understanding of subcontractor ledger management
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A team player with a positive, hands‑on attitude
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
