The Role
We are seeking a hands‑on and proactive Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and reconciling company expenses
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly close procedures
- Maintaining and reconciling subcontractor ledgers
- Monitoring and processing direct charges
- Supporting the wider finance team with day‑to‑day accounting duties
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained
- Assisting with reporting and finance administration as required
About You
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong reconciliation experience
- Experience with expenses, credit cards and month-end processes
- Good understanding of subcontractor ledger management
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A team player with a positive, hands‑on attitude
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
