Main Duties:

  • Responding to initial enquiries regarding property transactions
  • Communicating with external organisations (Land Registry, mortgage lenders, search companies)
  • Drafting contracts for sale, refinancing paperwork, and related correspondence
  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and risk procedures
  • Keeping clients, estate agents, and stakeholders informed on case progression
  • Assisting solicitors with file administration, invoicing, time recording, and audio typing

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Legal Secretary role
  • Background in conveyancing is essential
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office; knowledge of LEAP is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management abilities
  • Capable of working autonomously and within a team setting
  • Remains composed under pressure and maintains a well-organised desk
