The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Managing bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients using software such as Xero, Quick Books, Free Agent and Clear Books
- Assisting clients with bookkeeping and software queries
- Liaising with clients to ensure all records are completed and VAT returns are submitted on time
- Completing and filing VAT and CIS returns
- Preparing schedules, reports and reconciliations up to trial balance
This full‑time position is with flexibility to consider part‑time arrangements (minimum 30 hours / 4 days per week).
Hybrid working may be available, with up to 2 days per week from home.
The ideal candidate will
- Have well‑rounded bookkeeping knowledge and experience
- Be familiar with cloud bookkeeping software
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Be tech‑savvy and confident working in a modern, digital accounting environment
