This Senior Accountant position is ideal for someone who enjoys reviewing technical work, improving processes and supporting colleagues, whilst maintaining their own varied portfolio.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts before partner review.
- Providing technical guidance and constructive feedback to the accounts team.
- Managing workflow to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Preparing accounts for a varied client portfolio.
- Identifying amendments and ensuring work meets technical standards.
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members.
- Working closely with the Directors to improve efficiencies across the practice.
- Maintaining excellent client service where required.

About you
In order to be considered for this Senior Accountant role you have the following:
- Ideally qualified (ACA/ACCA) with strong technical accounts preparation and review experience.
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
- Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards.
- Confident reviewing and finalising accounts.
- Able to manage workload effectively and prioritise deadlines.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
