Salary: €60,000 – €70,000

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Joinery Design Manager to join our client’s growing team based in Meath. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:
You will join a growing bespoke joinery, fit-out & manufacturing business where you will lead the design department and report into the Managing Director.

• Provide all items of design from architect concept to manufacture and production of bespoke joinery.
• Attend design meetings with clients alongside liaising with production to ensure manufacturing conforms with agreed drawing.
• Draw up bespoke items such as reception desks, featured wall panels, ceilings, elements, kitchens, cabinets.

Experience you need:

• Must have experience in joinery drawing or fit-out
• Ideally be coming from a joinery background
• Has 4-7 years of experience working as a lead designer
• Has worked in a similar design role within a construction or manufacturing environment
• Have experience with AutoCAD 2D, Cabinet vision
• Experience with Solidworks is desired
• Strong communication skills
