Responsibilities
As a Delivery Manager, you will be the engine room of execution across the organization, driving value across enterprise-wide IT, infrastructure, operations, and InfoSec initiatives. You own the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, ensuring that strategic goals are translated into shipped value. You are the primary point of accountability for "how" we deliver and "when" outcomes are realised.
- End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Architect and own and drive the end-to-end delivery plan.
- Goal Alignment: Engage and align diverse teams toward shared goals, ensuring every contributor understands how their work maps to the final outcome.
- Outcome Realisation and OKR leadership: Partner with teams to agree on OKRs, build robust plans to achieve them, and monitor and drive progress towards their full realisation, taking decisive action when progress deviates from the strategic goal.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within technology teams as well as the wider business. Partner with managers across the organisation to improve developer and employee experience.
- Systemic Enablement: Continuously refine the delivery framework to remove friction, increase speed, and improve the quality of the engineering output.
- Continuous Delivery Evolution: Build a high-performing culture centered on continuous delivery, innovation, and efficiency.
- Risk & Dependency Mastery: Actively hunt and eliminate risks. Proactively identify, visualise, and seek to eliminate cross-team dependencies that threaten timelines.
- End-to-End Forecasting: Own the accuracy of time and cost forecasts, integrating estimation methodologies, team metrics, and known constraints.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the authoritative voice on project status, costs, and timelines, providing transparency to leadership.

- 3-5 years of experience in agile delivery, with significant experience managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Expert-level knowledge of agile and lean principles, with proven experience in applying and scaling Kanban at a team and programme level (e.g., Portfolio Kanban).
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate at a strategic level.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing large, multi-million-pound budgets (e.g., £5m+).
- A deep understanding of the energy industry landscape, including regulatory, commercial, and technological trends.
- Experience in managing third-party suppliers and commercial agreements.
- Experience in managing IT, Infrastructure, and InfoSec projects, with proven ability to lead internal corporate initiatives.
- A strategic and outcome-focused mindset, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans.
- Advanced agile certifications (e.g., KCP, KMP) are highly desirable.
