We’re looking for a German-speaking Commercial Manager to manage a portfolio of high-value clients in the energy trading sector in German-speaking countries. You’ll be the primary commercial contact, responsible for driving revenue, identifying client needs, and delivering innovative Trayport solutions that help our clients succeed. This is a consultative sales and account management role focused on growing existing relationships and uncovering new opportunities within your portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of prospective and active clients within the energy trading sector, serving as their primary commercial contact.
- Drive revenue growth by aligning Trayport’s solutions with client needs and long-term objectives.
- Build trusted, consultative relationships by understanding each client's goals, challenges, and competitive landscape.
- Proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts and generate leads through strategic account development.
- Act as a strong internal advocate for your clients, collaborating with product, technical, and leadership teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Lead the full sales cycle for new products and clients, including pipeline management, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Expand engagement within client organisations by increasing product adoption, venues, and trader participation.
- Build and maintain a senior-level network within the client base through meetings, presentations, industry events, and Trayport-hosted engagements.
- Represent the voice of the client in internal strategy discussions, contributing to long-term planning and product development.
