Why This Role Excites Us: Working as part of the McDonald’s Marketing team, the role focuses on supporting the team in the creation of key marketing campaigns. Day to day, you will support the Brand Manager on exciting marketing and advertising campaigns, and overall team administrative responsibilities across all media channels. The role involves reviewing scripts, collating feedback on photography, organising team meetings, attending TV shoots and more. It’s busy, varied, broad and a key part of a substantial, large‑scale business.
Responsibilities:
- Production support across all channels for designated campaigns (TV, Outdoor, Radio, Press, Digital, Social Media, In‑Restaurant).
- Reviewing 3PO campaign work (e.g. Uber Eat), coordinating approvals and briefing asset requirements.
- Managing weekly offer cascade and sharing with the cross‑functional team.
- Using creative judgement to assess campaign work and deliver timely, clear feedback to the relevant line manager and partner agencies.
- Leading meetings with key departments (Legal, Comms) to gain feedback and approval on work.
- Organisation and attendance of shoots for TV/Print/Social Media (organising meetings, timing plans, ordering food & equipment, troubleshooting).
- Providing broader team admin support: collating agendas, pre‑reads, diary management.
- Taking minutes for meetings and translating into clear, concise contact reports.
- Grow and develop into leading secondary channel management such as Social Media (future responsibilities).
Key Skills & Experience:
- Studied a relevant course within marketing or communications.
- Solid office environment experience, ideally in marketing or similar industry at a junior level.
- Passion for the McDonald’s brand and marketing industry.
- Enthusiasm for the creative process of campaign development.
- Proactive ownership of tasks and thorough follow‑through.
- Adapt quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities.
- Works independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Keenness to learn to develop business and creative competence.
- Strong relationship management skills to secure collaborator approval.
- Good listening skills and ability to ask clarifying questions.
