Lowestoft based Full time | Competitive Salary | Engineering from concept creation through to production release and engineering change management. You will work in a small, hands on engineering team where you can genuinely influence product design, collaborate across departments, and see your ideas move from CAD to prototype to production.
The Role
- 3D CAD design of large assemblies including sheet metal, plastics, piping systems and electrical harnesses
- Producing detailed manufacturing drawings, calculations and technical documentation
- Developing concept models and supporting new product development
- Testing and evaluating design concepts through CAD modelling and prototype assessment
- Managing engineering documentation and updates within a PDM system
- Supporting BoMs, manuals, diagrams and component specifications
- Working closely with Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing and suppliers
- Providing input during prototype builds and structured validation activities
