Based near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, we’re looking for an experienced Storeman to join our busy engineering/production environment. You’ll manage day-to-day stores operations, pick kits, handle service enquiries and deal directly with customers in person, by phone and email. The role is reactive, hands-on and central to keeping the team moving.
What we’re looking for:
- Stores experience (essential)
- Confident dealing with customers
- PC literate with ERP experience
- Background in engineering or production
- Strong attention to detail and able to work at pace
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7.30am–5.30pm, Every third Saturday morning
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing day-to-day stores operations and stock control
- Picking kits and parts – often reactively
- Supporting service enquiries
- Dealing with customers face-to-face, by phone and email
- Using ERP systems to update stock and process orders
- Working closely with engineering and production teams
What you’ll need:
- Strong stores background (essential)
- Experience in engineering or production
- Confident communicating with customers
- PC literate with ERP experience
- Organised, accurate and able to work at pace
