You’ll shape how our client is discovered across traditional search engines, AI‑driven summaries, and paid media platforms, using data, intent signals, and high‑quality content to maximise performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver SEO activity across product, category, and content pages.
- Conduct keyword and search‑intent research, considering both traditional rankings and AI‑driven search results.
- Optimise on‑page SEO including metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure.
- Support content optimisation for AI search, including structured content, FAQs, entity‑led optimisation, and authoritative answer formats.
- Carry out regular SEO audits covering technical health, site structure, and user experience.
- Collaborate with content, product, and web teams to improve rankings, visibility in AI summaries, and organic conversion.
- Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools, turning insights into clear, actionable improvements.
- Track competitor activity and emerging search trends—particularly those influenced by AI – and recommend improvements.
Collaboration & Performance
- Align SEO activity with wider marketing and commercial objectives.
- Support CRO initiatives to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Take ownership of search performance within your areas, proactively identifying opportunities and issues.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing best practice, platform changes, and emerging AI‑driven search behaviours.
About You
- 2+ years’ experience in SEO (in‑house or agency).
- Confident using Google Ads, GA4, and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of search engine ranking factors and intent signals.
- Awareness of how AI‑driven search and large language models are shaping SEO strategy, with a willingness to test and adapt.
- Comfortable analysing data and communicating insights to senior management.
- Organised, commercially minded, and proactive.
- Experience in B2B or technical products is an advantage.
We’re Interested in You If You Are:
- Curious and analytical, with a strong interest in how people search, discover, and evaluate products online.
- Strategic in your thinking, able to connect SEO activity to wider business goals.
- Proactive and enthusiastic about learning – especially around AI‑driven search, data, and marketing technology.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and explaining performance, insights, and recommendations clearly.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working with marketing, product, web, and commercial teams.
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to grow your skills and responsibilities.
What they Offer
- Genuine opportunities for growth, with support for training and professional development.
- Increasing responsibility and exposure as the business continues to scale.
- A close‑knit, supportive, and collaborative marketing and senior management team.
- The chance to help shape the future of their search and performance marketing capability – including how we adapt to AI‑driven search.
