A growing UK business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to provide high-quality financial oversight and support on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for an accomplished finance professional who wants to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced working week.

You’ll work remotely and partner closely with the leadership team to strengthen financial processes, improve reporting, and support the business through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end processes and produce accurate management accounts
  • Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting
  • Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting
  • Provide commercial insight and support to senior leadership
  • Oversee compliance, reconciliations and financial governance
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and decision-making
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
  • Strong understanding of SME finance environments
  • Confident working independently and remotely
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to improve processes and drive financial clarity
  • Comfortable working 2 days per week on a flexible schedule
