We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support our client’s customers across the agricultural machinery sector, with a strong focus on self-propelled and trailed crop sprayers. Most of your time will be spent in the field, with workshop and production support during quieter periods.
What you’ll do:
- Diagnose, service and repair crop sprayers and agricultural machinery
- Handle routine maintenance, breakdowns and field-based repairs
- Provide remote technical support and customer troubleshooting
- Support machine installs, commissioning and operator training
- Carry out workshop repairs, diagnostics and machine prep when required
- Maintain accurate service records and high safety standards
What you’ll need:
- Strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic skills
- Experience in agricultural, plant, HGV or similar machinery
- Confident with customers and remote diagnosis
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
- CANbus, GPS or sprayer experience is a bonus (training provided)
- Welding/fabrication skills desirable
