We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Washington. This is an experience-based role, ideally suited to a commercially minded professional who can operate independently while collaborating closely with colleagues for peer review and commercial assurance. The successful candidate will take ownership of project commercial management, supporting delivery teams across power and grid infrastructure projects.

  • Work independently on project commercial activities with internal peer checking.
  • Assess subcontractor applications for payment and valuations.
  • Carry out cost tracking, monitoring project financial performance.
  • Compensation Events (CEN)
  • Contract risks and commercial exposures
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
  • Assist project teams in maintaining commercial compliance throughout project delivery.

Qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management are beneficial but not essential. This role prioritises practical industry experience over academic accreditation.

  • 2–3 years' Quantity Surveying experience (minimum)
  • Strong commercial awareness within construction or energy infrastructure
  • Experience assessing subcontractor applications and valuations
  • Experience with cost reporting, forecasting, and financial tracking
  • Bespoke and amended forms of contract
