- Reconcile accounts and balance sheets, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with Profit & Loss analysis and provide support with financial queries

What will you do as an Assistant Management Accountant?
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts in a timely manner
- Reconcile intercompany balances and loan accounts
- Review company credit card analysis and maintain controls
- Prepare monthly sales data and reporting for key customers
- Maintain monthly rebate registers and approve customer repayment invoices
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
What do you need as an Assistant Management Accountant?
- Previous experience preparing or supporting management accounts
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be advantageous
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience
