This is a key role within a small, close-knit finance function, responsible for proactively managing customer accounts, controlling aged debt, and supporting healthy cash flow through the timely collection of outstanding invoices.

What will you do as a Credit Controller?
- Proactively manage a portfolio of approximately 200 active customers
- Chase overdue accounts, particularly those over credit limits and aged invoices
- Regular telephone contact with customers to ensure timely payment
- Allocation of incoming payments and maintenance of accurate account records
- Production and review of aged debtor reports
- Liaising closely with the sales team regarding customer accounts and payment issues
What do you need as a Credit Controller?
- Previous experience in Credit Control is essential
- Confident and resilient communicator, particularly over the phone
- Experience managing difficult or slow-paying customers
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume ledger
- Experience with Sage 50 desirable
