Your role will be overseeing the scheduling and execution of both domestic and international shipments ensuring safe delivery.

What will you do as a Shipping Manager?

  • Obtain and negotiate shipping quotes for inbound and outbound artwork shipments
  • Manage bespoke shipments, including packing, paperwork, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor international and domestic shipments, troubleshooting issues efficiently
  • Ensure all shipments comply with local and international shipping regulations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver projects cost-effectively and on time
  • Escalate critical issues to the Head of Department when necessary

What will you need as a Shipping Manager?

  • Previous experience in a senior shipping coordinator role within the art industry
  • Experience in fine art shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, export and CITES licensing
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills for complex shipments
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Happy to be onsite 5 days a week
